Amelia's mum Miriam now has a bald head too. She shaved it for a great cause. Go Miriam!!

All of Room 6!

 

Here is everyone in Room 6. Can you spot our new friend Caleb? We now have 24 people in our class. Sadly, Vishal left yesterday for India for 3 months. If we had 24 people in our class, and one boy left, how many students are now in Room 6?

Priya from the Auckland Council came in today to talk to us about how to be safe around dogs.  

 

We learned lots of things. Ask us what we discovered about dog safety today.

Another bald mum!!

Amelia's mum is amazing like James' mum and she is shaving her head for Cure Kids too. Miriam's hair will be shaved off on October 26th at the Auckland Baby Show.

Weaving

 

Before the holidays Alice's mum, Kerin, came in and taught us all how to weave flax. The maori name for flax is harakeke. We wove beautiful flowers. Thanks, Kerin!!

Room 6 also had some fun outside with Mrs Strickland. We were practising our listening skills.
